Description
IntraSite Gel is an amorphous hydrogel which promotes rapid but gentle debridement of necrotic tissue, whilst being able to loosen and absorb slough and exudate. It can also be used to provide the optimum moist wound healing environment during the later stages of wound healing. It is low adherent and does not harm viable tissue or the skin surrounding the wound. This makes IntraSite Gel ideal for every stage in the wound healing process.

- IntraSite Gel rehydrates necrotic tissue and, by its gentle yet effective action, promotes rapid debridement
- IntraSite Gel absorbs slough and exudate without damaging fragile granulation tissue
- IntraSite Gel increases moisture content at the wound surface, preventing eschar formation.
- By keeping fragile granulation tissue moist and allowing the migration of epithelialising cells, IntraSite Gel helps to create the ideal moist wound healing environment
- Effective yet gentle action leaves delicate granulation tissue undisturbed, reducing trauma
- IntraSite Gel is low adherent so is easily removed from the wound by irrigation with normal saline; without damaging fragile tissue or causing unnecessary pain for the patient
- IntraSiteGel contains propylene glycol which has bacteriostatic properties. In addition, propylene glycol acts as a humectant (moisturiser) which prevents the gel from drying out and improves handling

We deliver to all Australian States. Orders received by 1pm are generally shipped the same day.
Our freight charge is $10.00 + GST. Orders over $500.00 ex GST are delivered freight free.
Equipment - chairs, cabinets, grinders etc plus bulky orthotic materials will attract a larger freight charge.
This charge is calculated at our carriers rates. We are happy to do a quote if required.

Adelaide and other country centres - 3 days
Perth, Tasmania - 5 to 7 days
We can ship overnight satchels to most major centres but the weight and/or cubic limit is 5kg.
Equipment and large multiple cartons/packages or pallets may take an extra day.
Dangerous Goods such as phenol, glues, alcohol based disinfectants etc attract a DG surcharge from our carriers and must also only be shipped via road. These items must also be packaged separately and may arrive separately from other items on your order and may also take an extra day or 2 to arrive.
